Melon Bun x Cream Bun
A match made in heaven. The favorites of young and old, the melon bun and the cream bun. These two buns have been combined in everyone’s idea of the ideal dessert. Ultimate melt-in-the-mouth sweetness makes this bun even more delicious.

In the course of developing our sweet buns, we realized that the classic and perennial favorite of all Japanese, the melon bun, still has plenty of potential to evolve, and we started putting our minds to the development of a product that would come closer to a sweet.
How does this new genre, “sweet buns,” differ from the “confectionery buns” that have come before?
The answer lies in the perfect mouthfeel and melt-in-the-mouth texture of the bread dough and the way it fuses with the brightness and flavor of a sweet, and the fact that our sweet buns are light and easy to eat, requiring less commitment than a slice of cake. Having established our concept of the features of a sweet bun, we made modification after modification, and finally came up with the Hattendo Melon Bun.

Things to remember when eating our Cream Buns

※The use-by date for our Cream Buns is 2:00 p.m. on the day after the day of purchase. Keep them refrigerated before eating.
※Our Cream Buns are not frozen, but delivered chilled on the day they are made.
As the cream seeps into the bun, the bun will become moist and soften. Keep it in the wrapper when you eat it.
